This page explains how to request deletion of the data that entered Sync Recruiting CRM from your Facebook and Instagram (Meta) profiles.

How to request deletion

You can request deletion of your data in one of two ways:

  1. Remove the app from your Facebook / Instagram settings. Removing our app's authorization in your Facebook or Instagram account settings automatically triggers deletion of your data via our callback mechanism.
  2. Email us. Send a message to vadym.klius@gmail.com with the subject "Data deletion request" and include your Instagram or Facebook username.

What is deleted

We delete the messages, comments and profile data collected from your Instagram or Facebook account at the moment they entered the system as leads (inbound contacts).

Two roles — important note

If your data was collected on behalf of a recruiting agency (a Client using Sync), that agency is the controller of your data. In that case Sync deletes the data from its own systems and forwards your request to that agency as the data controller (per Privacy Policy §2 / §9).

Timeline

We process data deletion requests within 30 days.
